PUBLIC: Safer Teen Girls Training (Decatur)

Join us for Revved Up Kids Safer Teen Girls!

Revved Up Kids Safer Teen Girls personal safety and self-defense training is ideal for girls in 6th-12th grade. Parents are encouraged, but not required, to attend with their daughters. The program lasts approximately 2 hours.

PROGRAM FOCUS AREAS:

1. Understanding risk of attack from strangers and known attackers.
2. Incorporating personal safety into all decisions.
3. Using voice and body to deter a threat.
4. Responding to an attacker (full force self-defense practice)
5. Weapons (attackers with weapons / carrying a personal weapon)

Note for parents of pre-teens: Revved Up Kids Safer Teen Girls training includes frank discussions of sexual assault, intimate partner violence and sex trafficking.
